Hi all,

Is there any way to change the computer power option using registry or any method else ?

Since i hve to manually do this repeatedly for about twenty computers suchas :

right click on desktop, then select properties, then click on screen saver tab, select no screensave, then choose power , set power scheme , and select other options like turn off monitor = never, turn off hdd = never....

Would any sifu give me some hints to automate it? or is there any way to change the properties from the registry or somewhere else?

ptt,

You might want to research the info that Jon gave you (or at the very least, thank him for his post to your thread).

Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt

Type powercfg /?

and press enter - happy reading....

As for where the registry keys are for things not changed or set by powercfg, use one of the many registry monitoring tools to see what changes within the registry when you manually make setting changes via the operating system's graphical user interfaces.

Here is but one such tool:

...hope this helps...
