tekhed Posted August 27, 2004 Share Posted August 27, 2004 New to autoIT, have done simple login scripts, but I would like some advice on a larger problem I'd like to solve, and if autoIT is even the best solution. I frequently have excel spreadsheets with data in specific columns I need to paste or type by hand into an web browser's input field. I've mapped out instructions for autoIT (pseudocode), but am having a hard time figuring out specifics of switch back and forth between programs. For instance, copying cell "B4" in excel, switching to IE, pasting the data, using {TAB} 3 times, switching BACK to excel, copying cell "C4", switching to IE, pasting the data, using {TAB} 5 times, lather, rinse, repeat.
