KnowledgeSponge
Having a little trouble not directly related to autoit. Sometimes my sound stops working, not sure why exactly, but muting then unmuting fixes it. So I tracked down 4 registry keys that change upon muting/unmuting. However, when I set these keys to mute then unmute, it has no effect. So basically they are not being read unless you actually click the mute checkbox. Anyone know of a way to mute all without automating something to actually open volume control, controlclick mute blah blah etc etc? I'd prefer to use a different method than that. ivan
I used to get the same problem when launching two audio applications, Sound Forge for editing and MusicMatch for compressing. As it turns out, they both conflicted when playing a sound. My solution was simple, finish editing and then compress.
