Access resources in an EXE?

Recommended Posts

I expected it to be already asked, but I haven't been able to find it, so..

How can AutoIt access resources that are inside an EXE? Can it?

You might be able to have AutoIt create a script for Res Hacker and extract them that way. For how to script Resource Hacker go to their site and download the help file.

Icon files.. but lots of them.. not just one, I don't mean for setting a single icon of the EXE. They need to be accessed, then displayed (but I can get the displaying part figured out myself).

edit: Or from a DLL, or somewhere like that, you know.. .exe, .ocx, .dll, anything that can hold resources.
