redndahead
I want to be able to check if a process exists. In task manager it looks like this. Process1.exe Process2.exe Process3.exe I want to be able to reference Process2.exe Just stating the name doesn't work. I have tried using a space in front and even an "_" it doesn't work. Any ideas? red Edited January 15, 2004 by redndahead

Valik
Can you dump the output of tasklist.exe and post it or something? What about Process Explorer by Sysinternals, what does it show about this process?
redndahead
Found out why the problem exists. It is a program that is using the dos virtual machine. So the only process you see is the NTVDM.exe Thanks anyway. red
