Let me know if you guys do things better: 1. Search internet for any COM objects/methods that interact with your sound device 2. Use filemon and regmon, run these applications, mute the sound, and see what registry keys and/or files that change 3. Search internet for script already written in another language and convert it to .au3 Is there any other methods you guys use to create these types of scripts from scratch that I should be doing?
