Aligning windows

Recommended Posts

Hi, I've searched the forums and found nothing, and I've tried writing it myself, but I wasn't able to get it working. I want a program that allows me to line up my windows without any overlapping... I usually have about four windows of different sizes open at the same time... Any ideas?

Use WinList() to get a list of windows, WinGetPos() to get their current size and position (if interested), do the math with the macros @DesktopHeight and @DesktopWidth, set the new position and sizes with WinMove(). It's all in the help file.

:)

I know how to use all those, and that I've tried it, but I can't think of how to.

Oh, I did a google search and found one. If you want one too, here it is (free):

(I didn't know how to find out if a window was being moved anyway)

Could something like this help?
