IE get links

Recommended Posts

this is the code:

$str = StringSplit($site, "=")
$URL = _IECreate($frlink & $str[2], 0, 1, 1, -1)
$collectlinks = _IELinkGetCollection($URL)
For $oLink In $collectlinks
   $linked = $oLink.href
Next
$clc = _IELinkClickByIndex($URL, 2)

now i collect the links and using _IELinkClickByIndex() i can select the one i want but the problem is that i want to retrieve the url of that link to use it along with INETGET(), is there any way to do that?

That's really odd looking code... guessing from the looks of it, I'm thinking you are confused about what the return values are for those functions. Please see the helpfile for more info.

To answer your question based on the provided code, the URL for the link with index 2 can be found like this:

$oMyLink = _IELinkGetCollection($URL, 2)

$myURL = $oMyLink.href

Doesn't work needs to be ripped out of the troubleshooting lexicon. It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?

Reproducer: a small (the smallest?) piece of stand-alone code that demonstrates your trouble
