Help with reading txt

Ok, it's been a while since i've posted here so sorry if this sounds stupid, i'm still using a somewhat old autoit. I just created a bot working for D2 v1.11, ive got it to find a path to meph and ive got it to kill him, all that bla bla bla, but what i need now is a way to read the text in the game.... when i press alt, i cant get it to try to find an items text, and thats the biggest problem i have. Is there any way to read a text thats part of the internal memory of a game? or is it like as impossible as it was to find out how to find the path to meph? thanks in advance
