DW1
I am looking for a way to use a usb cable between my xbox (controller port) and the usb on my PC (probably minus the power wire since they are both the power source) in order to write bots for XBOX games that are literaly controlled by my PC. I do not need the xbox controller output data, I have that, I just need a way to send... and would like to use AutoIt AutoIt3 Online Help

rickd
Interesting idea. Could it be achieved using some kind of parallel port relay card wired to the buttons on the controller? But that's not really what you are talking about.. Edited June 21, 2007 by rickd
lordofthestrings
if you want to do this you might lose your warranty to the device.. Install linux on the XBOX. Then you can download the SDK and with this you can automate these communications. (won't be easy if you're not a developper) there's a microsoft Xbox SDK but it's not permitted to be used by anyone but M$ itself (no home usage for this SDK) I don't know where to get it, I didn't check if there is a warez version available.. But most importantly.. You might be losing your waranty..
