knight666
I've looked all over the board, and I can't seem to find a proper way to autoscroll to the bottom of an edit box. Basically my program adds a lot of lines to an edit box, and you can only scroll down when it's done doing that. So my question: is there a way to autoscroll to the bottom of it? I could ofcourse just keep sending {END}'s, but it's not a very elegant solution plus the window will need focus for it to work. Thanks in advance! Helge
If I use the following line to add lines to my editbox it seems to autoscroll without any problems.GUICtrlSetData($ctrl, "blah blah" & @CRLF, True)Edit : typo Edited June 24, 2007 by Helge
knight666
Hey, thanks man, that did the trick. I was doing something really dumb by the way: Func AddMsg($msg) GUICtrlSetData($txtLoading, GUICtrlRead($ØY[ÊH [ÈÕT [È ][ÝÎ][ÝÈ [ÈRS [È ][ÝÎ][ÝÈ ×²4T2fײgV÷C²ÒgV÷C²fײb33c¶×6rfײ5$Äb¤VæDgVæ So you've not only fixed my problem, you've also sped things up considerably. (b ")b _GUICtrlEditLineScrollThanks for letting me know its proper usage, where I could find the function and if it actually does what I want it to.
