Mast3rpyr0 Posted June 24, 2007 Share Posted June 24, 2007 (edited) im not so sure that word documents have passwords but if they do im guessing it uses the NTLM or LM hash algorithms to encrypt the password. if you have the hash you can run it against premade rainbow tables. A group of hackers(including me ) came up with the largest free set available online of LM tables, they are 200GB i believe. Check it out Here if you dont mind spending 200GB of your harddrive to get one password.
