Starcom Posted June 30, 2007 Share Posted June 30, 2007 Hello, I want ro read strings with Greeks characters then display its in a Gui control so I think that I need to use UTF-8 codes. I don't know if the cause of my problem is the reading operation or the GUI displays but the characters displayed in the GUI are not the same as the Ini file. MrCreatoR Posted June 30, 2007 Share Posted June 30, 2007 Hi, In new versions of AutoIt there support for Unicode, so you will need to save your Ini-file to Utf-8 encoding, and when you read it, the line will be as Utf-8, and use AutoIt3.exe to compile the script (this what i think SciTE uses by default), then you see right (as you want) characters (i think, hope ). Then, I've tried to save the .INI to Unicode and that works fine. Perhaps I did something wrong or perhaps not. I hope my experience will help others AutoIt programers.
