Online Virus Scan finds Trojan -.-

Recommended Posts

Yeah, sorry for the double post, but I really need someone to tell me what's going on. I really want to start using this, but not if there is a virus... What's triggering the Trojan report?

Have some common sense man, do you think thousands of users are having a virus and they don't know? This is lame.

Actually, it's possible. I've seen it before.

Also, comon sense is to ask about a virus if it shows up in a virus scan.

But, thanks for the insult. Oh well. I'll run it

You haven't told us what file gave a positive so do not understand all other opinions given here.

It could very well be that a viral script was written in AutoIt3 so nobody can/should tell you its safe to use it.

When its the original AutoItSC.bin from the installer that gives the virus warning you should be pretty safe and assume its a false positive.

Have a look at the sticky at the top of this Forum to find more on your question.
