Create a file

Recommended Posts

I need to create a text file. But, ideally i don't want this file to open. If this created file's title is then changed and then saved will it save in the same directory as the original file?

You need to explain in simple steps what you want to do for me to help.

Do you want to create a new text file and write something to it, or copy an existing file or ...?

Don't want this file to open- do you mean you want it to be hidden? A file that can't be opened is useful for filling that annoying unused space on your drive.

If the title is changed by your script, by someone else..?

If the file is moved or copied it can be put anywhere.
