WinWaitActive(substring())?

Hi,

Ive written a script that work with different versions of flash.

currently i have

WinWaitActive("Macromedia Flash MX")

but this breaks if im using flash 8

because its window would be

WinWaitActive("Macromedia Flash Professional 8")

Im wondering can i just use the first word of the window so something like

if window title contains macromedia then wait till its active

WinWaitActive(substing("Macromedia")

or something along those lines any help appriciated.

i did this and it seems to work but am i lucking out and its not really waiting for it hmmm...

Perhaps the window is not recognized as activated.

Try this

Opt('TrayIconDebug', 1)
Opt("WinTitleMatchMode", 2)

WinWait("Macromedia")
WinActivate("Macromedia")
WinWaitActive("Macromedia")
