NELyon
is there controls for firefox like there is for ie?Yes, but it is not included standard with Firefox. If you google "Mozilla ActiveX Control", you will find it. It has basically the same architecture as the IE library

GEOSoft
is there controls for firefox like there is for ie?There are some FF extensions in Example Scripts forum. As for replacements for the actual IE.au3 functions, you don't need them. All that's required to use them is having IE installed (you do) but it doesn't have to be the default browser. Moderators big_daddy Posted July 27, 2007 Moderators Share Posted July 27, 2007 Why corrupt Firefox with IE's presence? Your essentially using an embedded IE object...so why not just use IE!
GEOSoft
Why corrupt Firefox with IE's presence? Your essentially using an embedded IE object...so why not just use IE!I think he's looking for the same functions as IE.au3 has. As I pointed out there is no need because the IE.au3 functions work as long as IE is installed. There is nothing that applies specifically to FireFox because it's not necessary. GEOSoft
firefox works faster then ie for me FireFox works faster than IE for anyone but that doesn't change the fact you don't need new functions specific to FF.
