Suppress item selection in listview

Hi,

I can't find this in forum search or help; sorry if it is obvious, but it seems to be allowed to select/ highlight by default?

How do I trun it off in listview? (I still want a click to register the information, but not the line to be highlighted...))

Well, i think you can check focus of ListView, and if it have the focus just remove the focus...

Hm, from the help file:

$LVS_EX_BORDERSELECT - If this style is set, when an item is selected the border color of the item changes rather than the item being highlighted.

But it sims that there is a bug...

I agree. I've tried adding headings and item lines but if the extended style $LVS_EX_BORDERSELECT is included then it's not shown. Adding GUICtrlSetState($ListView1,$GUI_SHOW) doesn't help.

Looks like a bug to me.

It's not supose to - the ID not returns by GUICtrlCreateListView(), so the control is not created.
