Look in the help file at Obj/COM Reference, scroll down near the bottom, there is a COM error handler. For lighter-weight handling, most WMI queries return a collection object. A test like this usually catches errors in a simplistic yes/no fashion: If IsObj($colResults) Then ; ... it worked For $oResult In $colResults ; Do stuff Next Else ; ... it failed MsgBox(16, "Error", "WMI query did not return an object.")
