Bert
I saw this, but it looked as it was for JS files. I wasn't sure it would work for a exe. Can you point me in the direction of documentation on it? The Vollatran project My blog: http://www.vollysinterestingshit.com/
Administrators Jon Posted August 20, 2007 Administrators Share Posted August 20, 2007 You can sign all sorts of things - the certificate type determines what you can sign. You need an authenticode cert for signing exes. I just run "signtool.exe signwizard", then select the cert (which must be installed in IE) then the exe. Administrators Jon Posted August 20, 2007 Administrators Share Posted August 20, 2007 I still need to buy a cert though..right?Yeah. You can "self sign" but that's only really useful for testing as it will still come up as "untrusted" for everyone else.
