How do i use return values for example for a msgbox

If a function returns a value then the function can be used like a variable.

Eg say a function called JustNine returns 9. Then you could have

$sum = $somevalue + JustNine();Totaly pointless but never mind

For the msgbox, you could have

$answer = MsgBox(3,'Will you do it','Don't say No')

if $answer = 7 then

consolewrite('He doesn't listen to a word I say.' & @CRLF)

endif

Serial port communications UDF Includes functions for binary transmission and reception.printing UDF Useful for graphs, forms, labels, reports etc.Add User Call Tips to SciTE for functions in UDFs not included with AutoIt and for your own scripts.Functions with parameters in OnEvent mode and for Hot Keys One function replaces GuiSetOnEvent, GuiCtrlSetOnEvent and HotKeySet.UDF IsConnected2 for notification of status of connected state of many urls or IPs, without slowing the script.
