Welcome to the forum.

Manually bring up the window of interest.

Start the "AutoIt v3 Window Info" tool:

Start > Programs > AutoIt v3 > AutoIt Window Info

Manually click in the first field that you want AutoIt to sent text to.

Press Ctrl-Alt-F to freeze the info in the "AutoIt v3 Window Info" tool.

Within the "AutoIt v3 Window Info" tool, click on the tab labeled "Summary".

Highlight/copy/paste all of that info to your next post like this:

Maybe then, one of us can help you.

goethe,

I understand your desire to keep certain info out of this public forum - but it was sure weird having your post go away while I was looking at them. :-)

Okay, the first thing that I would suggest is that you install the latest version of AutoIt3. From what I saw in your screen shot of the AU3Info tool, you do have control info that you can use... it may not work, but there was info there. Post the ControlSend or ControlSetText line of code that you have tried and we will check your syntax.

Remember what the help file says about ControlSend:

The control might first need to be given focus with the ControlFocus command...

So, you will want to try a ControlFocus right before your ControlSend.
