PeteW Posted August 30, 2007 Share Posted August 30, 2007 Hello,I've recently been running a number of installations & needed to get the text description of the Windows Installer error/exit code number.The attached function simply returns the short and/or long text description for each code, based on Microsoft article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/304888 (February 8, 2007; Revision 3.3)[NB This isn't new, so apologies if it's been done before.
