Resistor Color-to-Ohm converter

Here's this tool I made to find out the values of resistance and tolerance of resistors by their colors.

I know the code is unnecessary long, but I couldn't really figure out another way and I was bored.

I checked the values returned by the script, and they seem to be correct according to this article.

It looks fine but you should place the actual picture.gif file in a zip and upload that. I could only save it as a JPEG or BMP so now I have to do the conversion manually on another system.

ok this idea of this came to me alst ngiht lol but now i see someone has made it i might go one step better XD

i can do 5 and 4 band resistors

well have to see how it goes

but is it ok if i use yours as a test ground and see how i can add or use your type of coding?
