Won't Open GUI when Parameters are met

Recommended Posts

I need a GUI to close when a user selects the 4th selection form a list. It will also need to open another GUI corresponding to that selection.

Heres what I have, but it doesn't work ...

This sets the selection to the current selection when the $NextButton is clicked.

Func Selection()
    While 1
    $selectedindex = _GUICtrlListSelectedIndex($SelectList)
    $selected = _GUICtrlListGetText($SelectList,$selectedindex)

    $msg = GUIGetMsg()
    Select

        Case $msg = $NextButton
        $username = GUICtrlRead($UsernameInput)
        $password = GUICtrlRead($PasswordInput)

        If $selected = "1. Auto Fighter" Then
            $selection = 1
        Endif

        If $selected = "2. Power Cutter" Then
            $selection = 2
        Endif

        If $selected = "3. Power Fisher" Then
            $selection = 3
        Endif

        If $selected = "4. Power Miner" Then
            $selection = 4
        Endif

    EndSelect
    Wend
EndFuncoÝ÷ Ù8b²^Ëay'¥yËb¢q!·jë²W¶*'oÝ÷ Ù8b²^Ëazaz±#^Ç¥yËb¢

It looks fine to me, but when I select the 4th option and click next, it does nothing.

Any help would be greatyly appreciated.

Hi,

Maybe try to set second parametr (Win Handle) to the GuiSetState...

If $selection = 4 then
    GUISetState(@SW_SHOW, $ChildGui)
endif

How about trying it like this:

While 1
    If GUIGetMsg() = $NextButton Then
        $username = GUICtrlRead($UsernameInput)
        $password = GUICtrlRead($PasswordInput)
        $selectedindex = _GUICtrlListSelectedIndex($SelectList)
        ConsoleWrite("Debug:  $selectedindex = " & $selectedindex & @LF)
        $selected = Number(StringLeft(_GUICtrlListGetText($SelectList, $selectedindex), 1))
        ConsoleWrite("Debug:  $selected = " & $selected & @LF)
    EndIf
WEnd

:)
