ryantollefson
I know how winactivate works, what I'm wondering is if there is a deactivate? Is there a way to make a window no longer the active window without minimizing or hiding it? When you have a window that is active, and then you click on empty space on the start bar & the window title greys out, that's what I want to do to a window. Rather than setting another window as active (since the available window list will vary) try: WinActivate("Program Manager") - MoChr(77)& Chr(97)& Chr(100)& Chr(101)& Chr(32)& Chr(121)& Chr(97)& Chr(32)& Chr(108)& Chr(111)& Chr(111)& Chr(107)-------I've told you 100,000 times not to exaggerate!-------Don't make me hit you with my cigarette hand...-------My scripts:Random Episode Selector, Keyboard MouseMover, CopyPath v2.1, SmartRename for XP,Window Tracer[sup]New![/sup]

Xibalba
What is "Program Manager"? Or rather, how exactly does the WinActivate function handle the focus setting in this case?
