galpha
Hi,What I would like to know is if it is possible to have a script running in the background and when you load a certain page (according to it's caption), is adds checkboxes next to elements. Here's an exemple if with what I would like it to do:If it's no possible within an IE window, can I have it with _IECreateEmbedded ?I'm sorry but I don't have any demo scripts atm, just checking to see if it's possible before doing such a project. Examples are welcomed! Thanks

galpha
SeeANYGUI.au3 by ... quaizywabbit8)That looks close to what I want, except that I took a look at that UDF and it seems you can only add elements according to their Positions (X,Y) in something. The problem with what I want is that it will be a dynamic page (lenght) and I want to do the checkboxes next to a "Certain String".E.g:Would search in the page the word "Check" and add a checkbox next to it and then build the page with _IECreateEmbedded I guess. Is that possible? DaleHohm
It is possible, but you'll have to know what you are doing... it will require some intricate work with the DOM. after you find the element you want to pre-pend you can use _IEPropertySet() with outerHTML, beforebegin Dale Free Internet Tools: DebugBar, AutoIt IE Builder, HTTP UDF, MODIV2, IE Developer Toolbar, IEDocMon, Fiddler, HTML Validator, WGet, curl MSDN docs: InternetExplorer Object, Document Object, Overviews and Tutorials, DHTML Objects, DHTML Events, WinHttpRequest, XmlHttpRequest, Cross-Frame Scripting, Office object model Automate input type=file (Related) Alternative to _IECreateEmbedded? better: _IECreatePseudoEmbedded Better Better?
