Fewmitz
So I'm really interested in AutoIt, but it's kind of immense, and there's not really a structured guide anywhere so...what's a good way to start hammering things out?
Bert
read the help file, and look at the examples. Also, take a look at AutoIt 1 2 3. You will find a link to it from my links page in my sig The Vollatran project My blog: http://www.vollysinterestingshit.com/
Proph
First thing you do is get an idea for a program you want to make. Once you have a plan then run with it. find some example scripts on the forums here which are simular to what you want to accomplish. Read the Autoit Help file a lot! Try not to copy and paste anything. Write it out.
SAscripter
I'm in a similar boat! I've found the Microsoft Windows Self Paced Scripting Guide to be VERY helpful in getting started with the logic, terminology and structure required to script effectively. Might want to check that out. Just my 2 cents. Good Luck!
