ffdshow
Hi! I try to uncheck a button in a window with title "Tip of the Day" unsuccessfully. Command WinGetHandle don't work or I don't use correctly. Even WinClose do not work on "Tip of the Day". Any ideas?

therks
Try $handle = WinGetHandle("[CLASS:TFormTip]") The syntax has changed a bit recently (if you're using the newest version). My AutoIt Stuff | My Github

MrCreatoR
The syntax has changed a bit recentlyYes, but classname=TFormTip will work as well if you set an Opt("WinTitleMatchMode", 4) Edited September 19, 2007 by MsCreatoR Spoiler Using OS: Win 7 Professional, Using AutoIt Ver(s): 3.3.6.1 / 3.3.8.1 AutoIt Russian Community My Work... therks
Yes, but classname=TFormTip will work as well if you set an Opt("WinTitleMatchMode", 4) Yes buuuut... as mentioned here it looks like mode 4 is removed officially and only present for backwards compatibility, so ideally any new scripts should be written assuming it does not exist.
