duckling78
Is there a way to simulate packetloss with AutoIt3?Basically I am testing a Java based program and some of our users possibly have some packetloss when sending to our site which is causing some problems when we try to store that data (etc, etc...). So basically I want to simulate packetloss, packet reordering, etc some how (not network disconnect).I saw some free programs at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_emulation#Free_software but they're all for unix stuff and I just know how to use Windows.Instead of investing in one of the commercial (really expensive) programs listed on that page, I was wondering if it was possible to do this type of thing with AutoIt3?There's something called "DummyNet" which comes with FreeBSD, but I was hoping I wouldn't have to install a new OS to test out this scenario. herewasplato
I sent you a PM. I'm not sure that you can do this via AutoIt and if you could, I'm not sure that the code should be posted in this open forum. Maybe some of the smarter folks can PM you with some ideas. :-) ..
