How about

#include <GUIConstants.au3>
$Form1 = GUICreate("Form1", 292, 150, 193, 115)
$Button1 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Select File", 88, 32, 105, 33, 0)
GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)
While 1
    $nMsg = GUIGetMsg()
    Switch $nMsg
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit
        Case $Button1
            $message = "Hold down Ctrl or Shift to choose multiple files."
            $var = FileOpenDialog($message, @WindowsDir & "\", "Images (*.jpg;*.bmp)", 1 + 4)
            If @error Then
                MsgBox(4096, "", "No File(s) chosen")
            Else
                $var = StringReplace($var, "|", @CRLF)
                MsgBox(4096, "", "You chose " & $var)
            EndIf
    EndSwitch
WEnd
