Possible to colorize single line of text in gui?

Like this:

[[color red here] test2

[test4

so basically when a person enters text into an edit box through an inpout box i want that color do be different from any other color like say the color white.

i wanna know if its possible, i tried many ways of doing this and it colroed the whole editbox instead so i'm lost anyone have any general directions maybe i should look in?

You need RichEdit control.
