jammer2
Hi, I'm newbie to autoit. How do you debug your code in autoit. Is there a debugger? Also where can I find the commands for autoit? Is There a keystroke logger of some sort that makes script code? Thanks any help will be greatly appreciated. PitBullBlonde
http://www.autoitscript.com/fileman/users/...ite4autoit3.exe Where has this been hiding all my life? I've been using Source Edit, but this looks much more helpful... Only thing is that I misunderstood and selected to have it start up when I click on my script files, rather than having them run - now I have to figure out how to change that setting... and I know...I willRead the manualRead the manualRead the manualRead the manualRead the manualRead the manual until my contacts are all dried out... normeus
I really like editplus 2 and I am in love with textpad (I want it to have 1000's of my babies). with it I could even load a 100,000 record file sort it with in seconds!!!BUT IF I HAD SCITE WHEN I STARTED WITH AUTOIT3 (SEPT 2004 ) I WOULD NEVER HAVE ASKED A QUESTION ON THIS FORUM.I THINK IT SHOULD BE REQUIRED BEFORE ASKING A QUESTION LIKE:if ( $ifs and $buts ) then candy = $(nuts)TO INSTALL SCITE!!!IF YOU WANT TO HIT THE GROUND RUNNING INSTALL SCITE. DONT EVEN READ THE MANUAL (not that anybody would)BUT YOU MUST INSTALL SCITE http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/scite/...iTe4AutoIt3.exe
Developers Jos Posted October 16, 2004 Developers Share Posted October 16, 2004 (edited) Only thing is that I misunderstood and selected to have it start up when I click on my script files, rather than having them run - now I have to figure out how to change that setting... and I know...I will<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Just run the installer again if you want to change it.I like it that SciTe opens when double clicking an AU3 file. then do the coding and do F5 to Run ... It will then also show the errors in the OutputPane which makes the coding so much easier.
