RobertKipling
How can you generate random numbers that follow a normal distribution? I have seen examples of a Gaussian distribution before, but they have produced unwieldy results at best after being translated from other (programming) languages. Does anyone have a good method that wont waste CPU cycles?
weaponx
Random(0,100,1) looks pretty normal to me!
RobertKipling
Sorry, should have been more specific. I'm looking for the generation of data that would work like a classic Bell Curve, with 68% of the data within one standard deviation, 95% of the data within two, and 99.7% within three.
