I recommend using latest betas generally.

As Jos said when you use Scite4Autoit3 then you may quickly compile release/beta version.

But if you wish to use your your EXE on WIN98 then don't use beta version 3.2.9.3.

There is BIG BUG which causes AutoIt's EXE will not start on WIN98.

This bug will be fixed in beta 3.2.9.4 some time in the future.

I also normally use beta, but as you said, always test first. I found a few days ago where a script would work under general release, but not the beta. It turned out there was a update to an include file, and removing a line from my script fixed the issue. Still, the lesson here is to test your scripts first. Usually the beta has the latest fixes, and newest commands. I discovered the latest one has many new commands. (Thanks Gary!)

Currently working adding more to it, at the same time making any fixes needed.

Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.
