How to tell VB.NET 2005 Originating application that script is finished.

Recommended Posts

So I have my program in vb.net 2005 that executes the autoit script that performs a lot of functions in IE, gets some information, and saves it to a database. How would I have the script advise the VB application that the script has finished executing? I know that I can communicate between two autoit scripts, but can't find much on talking to a program in another language. Thanks for the help.
