tomtomtom
I know that I am not the first new user asking questions about starting au3recorder by means of alt-F6. But in the forums I can't find a solution that works in my case. I downloaded and installed SciTE4AutoIt3.exe from http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/scite/downloads.shtml. I think that gave me the latest version of sciTE. and indeed I can find au3record.exe in the folder C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\SciTE\ScriptWriter. But when I press alt-F6 in sciTE, then nothing happens. I'm sure that it is just my ignorance. Can somebody help me, please?

When I start it up with a .AU3file it works fine, exactly as you said. Thanks again!TomTomTom
