Echelon
Hi there, I've read the documentation, I've tried using the Window Info tool to obtain a class ID and I still can't seem to be able to do this. Can anyone explain to me how to manipulate web page contents from within Firefox? I can load the browser (Firefox) without any problems, I can load the requested URL without any problems. I can even go so far as to obtain the co-ordinates of the button using the Window Tool, and then 'click' on those co-ordinates, but naturally I find that this isn't portable, because it depends upon screen resolution, Window placement, that kind of thing. My aim was to switch all 'clicks' on co-ordinates, to accessing controls directly. Can anyone offer any advice (in English) on how I do this please? I searched the web, and I searched the forums, and I couldn't find any information. Thanks in advance.

You need to ensure the relevant addons are installed in Firefox, which completely defeats the purpose of cross compatibility.Yes, I'm aware there are MANY alternatives to what I'm asking - but in this instance I specifically require AutoIt to be used natively to read/push buttons in a Firefox window. Please don't suggest alternatives, just methods in which I can do this (if even possible). Thanks.
Blue_Drache
Firefox does not expose its COM elements like IE does. So, the quick answer is, "No you can't. You're better off doing it in an IE window." Lofting the cyberwinds on teknoleather wings, I am...The Blue Drache
