Accessing Control Panels (need help asap!)

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, a friend of mine needs a script ASAP for work, and I'm trying to help him out.

The script requires accessing the windows firewall control panel, but I'm not sure what command to use to open up the panel.

Could someone help out a man helping out a friend?

when I ran that, I got an error saying "No application is associated with the specified file for this operation."

You must have XP SP2 at least to have firewall.cpl.

Assuming you have you could also try this

Local $RUNDLL32 = @SystemDir & "\rundll32.exe"
Run($RUNDLL32 & " shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL firewall.cpl")
Serial port communications UDF Includes functions for binary transmission and reception.printing UDF Useful for graphs, forms, labels, reports etc.Add User Call Tips to SciTE for functions in UDFs not included with AutoIt and for your own scripts.Functions with parameters in OnEvent mode and for Hot Keys One function replaces GuiSetOnEvent, GuiCtrlSetOnEvent and HotKeySet.UDF IsConnected2 for notification of status of connected state of many urls or IPs, without slowing the script.
