gamingmouse
Hi, I would like to read the text in the RichEdit control of a 3rd party application (a non autoit application). I've done some searching but can't figure which functions I would use here. Can anyone help me out? Thanks, gm

GaryFrost
ControlGetHandle GUICtrlEdit_GetText etc.... SciTE for AutoItDirections for Submitting Standard UDFs Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.
gamingmouse
ControlGetHandleGUICtrlEdit_GetText etc....Gary, Thanks for responding. I was just about to edit my original post to ask if I could use your script somehow....In your example file, you show to read selected text. However, how could I read all the text that was currently in the control? And then, on my next read, get only new text? Thanks,gm
