pwright2
Is there a simple command to rightclick the desktop? If I use a mouse command there is always the possibility of hitting an icon. I'm using Vista and I'm actually trying to get to the Personalize Menu without passing thru Control Panel and all. Obviously, I'm new at this. -----Paul-----
CoePSX
Control Panel modules can be accessed independently, they are all in the windows\system32 folder with the .cpl extension. You can run them directly using rundll32.exe, like this:Run ("rundll32.exe shell32.dll Control_RunDLL desk.cpl")Source: http://babek.info/libertybasicfiles/lbnews/nl137/cpl.htm [quote name='Valik' post='301213' date='Jan 31 2007, 10:36 PM']You seem to have a habit of putting things in the wrong place. Joon
Also, you can get directly by specifying Tab number ~ 0 = Desktop Icon Settings ;~ 1 = Screen Saver ;~ 2 = Apperance Settings ;~ 3 = Display Settings $TabNumber = 0 Run('RUNDLL32.EXE SHELL32.DLL,Control_RunDLL Desk.cpl,@n,' & $TabNumber) Edited November 8, 2007 by Joon
RobertKipling
When I came up to the problem, I used this code (it works, too!) WinActivate("Program Manager") Send("{APPSKEY}") For those of you that care, the Program Manager used to be the default shell in Windows (3.1 and 3.0). Apparently, in Windows 95, the Program Manager still exists as your desktop. Anyway, this will pop up the menu regardless of what windows are open. This is probably solution overkill, isn't it?
