I have created a little demonstration of my shell approach, beside the shell contest.

here it is: GUI.exe

i will NOT provide the sourcecode YET.

it is in a very early state but you can see the potential of it. functions like the new hover function will be implemented asap.

Best regards,

JR.

Nice start! In your list additions you might want to make room for support for different desktop sizes. I have 1280x1024 so the image took up about two thirds of my screen which looked kind of weird. The icons were still well placed though! Perhaps center the image...

How do you exit? I just exited it with the task manager, and now my task bar is gone. Explorer is functioning properly. HELP!!!

Edit: Fixed. Exited explorer.exe and ran it again.

Thank you all for your feed back, i will try to handle the stuff with the background image.

unfortunately _GUICtrlListView_SetBkImage has no option to stretch the picture, but i think i will find a way.

That depends, did you have things running on Windows or the Shell?

Stop padding your post count by posting something completely useless all over the forum.

If you ever download the program and tried, you would know that the program gives you a good visual looking by skinning the taskbar just like the screenshot provided.

Or you ever checked the program out you would've known running program is not supported at the moment and taskbar windows isn't supported either.

@Skizmata : I believe i answered your question Skizmata

@JrSmile : Looking forward to update and more function
