this-is-me Posted November 1, 2004 Share Posted November 1, 2004 (edited) Ahem... Not an option. That exe is from Norton Antivirus and is the realtime protection engine. If you just kill it, your system may not be able to get on the internet if it is part of Norton Internet Security since NIS includes a firewall. I prefer to be cautious and careful than to have that junk on my computer. The corporate edition on the other hand put out by Symantec is very good to date.
