Josbe
Getting started? Check the tutorials in your Helpfile, like this. Or in the forum. AUTOIT > AutoIt docs / Beta folder - AutoIt latest beta
John117
Honestly tutorials bore me. I would suggest you create a challange. "build a messenger" for example. -my first autoit script was a shell for netsend. To build something like this you will have to learn gui's, buttons, input boxes, edit boxes, how to read from them, how to store to them. Maybe how to read from a file to create an array for the button names. (your friends list) -this will get you used to the autoit forum search and the scite help file (open the editor, and select saveas "yourfilename.au3" save. Then help will show you autoit help. -VERY USEFUL -gives great detail that you may not find on here. Then when you finish, you have actually made something useful instead of just completed someones trainer Just my thoughts Edited November 26, 2007 by Hatcheda
Richard Robertson
One of my favorite ways to jump into a language is to find someone's complicated script with good comments, and figure out how it works. But that's just me.
