Updating scripts that use Autoit3Library?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Most of the older Au3Lib scripts I attempt to run explode in errors and require me to change the include statements and find/replace the syntax for every Au3Lib function. It isn't torture, but it is a little time consuming. I'm wondering if I might have missed a memo on an easier way to do that. (besides putting the old Au3Lib files in my Inc folder)

Any help?

Thanks alot.

Most of the functions have been renamed.

You might want to clarify that.

Most of the A3L functions have been ported into the standard UDFs that are included with the lates Release of AutoIt.

Thanks for doing that BTW, Gary. :)

I've noticed that on some files it warns you when the directives are out-dated and asks if you'd like to update them. Anything like that in the works for out-dated AU3Lib scripts?
