Remove a line from a file

I've got a list.txt, and I want to remove the first line.

I used this _RemoveLineInFile

It works correctly, and removes the line what I want, but without the @CRLF.

Can someone help, how could I remove the @CRLF too?

So the original 2nd row would be the first, the 3rd will become the 2nd, and soo on.

Are you using version 3.2.10.0? Does it leave an empty line at the every removed one or does it add one empty line to the first line on the file? The latter is a bug which is fixed on 3.2.11.0... You can fix it yourself on the File.au3 (make sure you backup it) while waiting for the 3.2.11.0 release.

allright here is the text file (C:\stuff.txt):

kivilagitott
meritovodor
nonkonformista
szenszennyezodes
cserepbodon

and the code:

_RemoveLineInFile("C:\stuff.txt", "kivilagitott")oÝ÷ Ù»"ÚâyÛaÊ'zÚ(jëh×6_RemoveLineInFile("C:\stuff.txt", "kivilagitott" & @CRLF)

both leaves an empty line before "meritovodor"

Try this function:

$Ret = ReplaceText("c:\stuff.txt", "kivilagitott" & @CRLF, "")
ConsoleWrite($Ret & @LF & @extended)

Func ReplaceText($sFileName, $sOldText, $sNewText, $iCount=0, $iCaseSense=0)
    If Not FileExists($sFileName) Then Return SetError(1, 0, -1)
    If $sOldText = "" Then Return SetError(2, 0, 0)
    $sOldText = String($sOldText)

    Local $hFile = FileOpen($sFileName, 0)
    Local $sVarToWrite = FileRead($hFile)
    FileClose($hFile)
    If Not StringInStr($sVarToWrite, $sOldText, $iCaseSense) Then Return SetError(3, 0, 0)

    Local $sReplStr = StringReplace($sVarToWrite, $sOldText, $sNewText, $iCount, $iCaseSense)
    Local $nExtended = @extended

    Local $hFileW = FileOpen($sFileName, 2)
    FileWrite($hFileW, $sReplStr)
    FileClose($hFileW)
    Return SetError(0, $nExtended, 1)
EndFunc
