Another example

CODE
#include<file.au3>

#include<array.au3>

$file = "c:\test.txt"

dim $text

_FileReadToArray($file,$text)

$string = ""

for $icc = UBound($text)-1 to UBound($text)-101 step -1

$string &= $text[$icc]&Chr(1)

Next

$split_string = StringSplit(StringTrimRight($string,1),Chr(1))

_ArrayDisplay($split_string)

Writing to an array is better.

Dim $aArray
$sFilePath = "some file"
_FileReadToArray ( $sFilePath, $aArray )
$i = $aArray[0]
Do
    If $i = 0 Then
        ExitLoop
    Else
        $Line = $aArray[$i]
        ;;;do something with $Line
    EndIf
    $i -= 1
Until $i = $aArray[0] - 100oÝ÷ Ø[¥

Cool thanks, I got it:

Dim $aRecords
If Not _FileReadToArray("text.txt",$aRecords) Then
MsgBox(4096,"Error", " Error reading log to Array     error:" & @error)
   Exit
EndIf
For $x = $aRecords[0] - 40 to $aRecords[0]
    ;Msgbox(0,'Record:' & $x, $aRecords[$x])
    If StringInStr($aRecords[$x], "Some Value") Then
        Local $var = StringMid($aRecords[$x], 7, 15)
        MsgBox(0, "", $var)
        ExitLoop
    EndIf
Next

You can also read the file from the bottom like this:

$FilePath = "Test.txt"

$sRead = FileRead($FilePath)
$100Lines = StringTrimLeft($sRead, StringInStr($sRead, @CRLF, "", -101)+1)
ConsoleWrite($100Lines)

:)
