There are actually a couple of issues... one is removing the element and the other is getting the browser to forget it was asked to do a refresh.

There are a few ways to remove the element, each relies on forst getting an object reference to it alone, suggest _IETagnameGetCollection($oIE, "meta") using an index if it is always in the same position or loop through the resulting collection looking at _IEPropertyGet innerHTML for a match (oe the .content or .http-evuiv properties).

Once you have a reference in, for example, $oMeta you can:

1) _IEPropertySet($oMeta, "outerhtml", "") or

2) $oMeta.removeNode()

I have never test the second method...

I don't know if the browser will honor the deletion - please test.

It may also be possible to set the .content value to 0 or some huge number and the browser may note the change and turn off or effectively turn off refresh.

SciTe Debug mode - it's magic: #AutoIt3Wrapper_run_debug_mode=Y

Doesn't work needs to be ripped out of the troubleshooting lexicon. It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?
