Dos output result ?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Can I use $STDOUT_CHILD for the output of an dos command ?

I want to use md5sum and the result of that I want to use as a variable.

$var1=Run (md5sum, ,$STDOUT_CHILD)

With kind regards,

John Slegers

I've used P5ych0Gigabyte's hashing UDF with a lot of success. I know this isn't the answer to your question but could prove useful.

Hi,

#include <Constants.au3>
$text = ''
Global $command = 'ipconfig'

 $stream = Run(@ComSpec & ' /c ' & $command, '', @SW_HIDE, $STDERR_CHILD + $STDOUT_CHILD)

 While 1
     $line = StdoutRead($stream)
     $text &= @CRLF & $line
     If @error Then ExitLoop
 WEnd

 MsgBox(0, "STDOUT read:", $text)

So long,

Mega
