Dummies guide to refreshing systray icons (help!)

I have a systray app that removes other apps of mine from the systray, the problem is that when it does this it seems to leave ghost icons in the systray. I have looked all over the forum and the info I have found probably works good but I seem to be having really bad luck at getting it to work myself. Could someone post an example on how to refresh the systray to properly remove any "ghost" icons left in it. A big thanks in advance!

You might also want to search Example Scripts for the SysTray UDF. I think there is a function in that to hide the icons.
